Mr. Jha heads the Disputes, Insolvency and Regulatory practice of the Firm.
Mr. Jha has more than 14 years of experience in advising and handling a wide range of civil and commercial litigation and arbitrations (both Domestic and International). During his professional career, Mr. Jha has gained wide experience in advising and representing various domestic and foreign enterprises including several PSUs in disputes before various foras including the Supreme Court of India, various High Courts, Subordinate Courts, Commissions, Tribunals and other judicial and quasi-judicial authorities.
Mr. Jha has considerable experience in advising and handling various domestic and international arbitrations including institutionalized arbitration under Zurich Chamber of Commerce, Singapore International Arbitration Centre, Indian Council of Arbitration, American Arbitration Association, Delhi International Arbitration Centre, London Court of International Arbitration etc., involving disputes arising out of a wide range of commercial agreements.
Mr. Jha has also gained wide experience in handling regulatory disputes especially in airport and power sectors. Mr. Jha has advised some of the Major Airports in the country in their first ever tariff determination process for aeronautical charges at any Major Airport in the country including handling various complex regulatory issues pertaining to the Major Airports of the Country. Mr. Jha has also gained wide experience in handling regulatory disputes before various State Commissions including Appellate Tribunal for Electricity and before Supreme Court.
On the Insolvency front, Mr. Jha regularly advises and represents various clients before the National Company Law Tribunal and Appellate Tribunal on proceedings under the provisions of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016.
Mr. Malik has more than 10 years of experience in advising on a wide range of civil and real estate litigation. His expertise lies in real estate matters, construction contracts and disputes arising out of construction contracts, Joint Development Contract and other Property Disputes. Mr. Malik has also handled complex litigations relating to commercial leases.
Mr. Malik regularly appears before various courts for developers, contractors, corporate and institutional clients on disputes pertaining to real estate, construction contracts and other commercial contracts.
Mr. Ashish Chaudhari is a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India and has more than 15 years of experience in the practice of corporate taxation advisory. Mr. Chaudhari is well versed with the latest trends in areas of auditing, accounting and direct tax laws.
Mr. Chaudhari has wide experience in preparing due diligence reports and supporting client in merger and acquisitions.
Mr. Chaudhari specializes in whole range of tax related services including Domestic tax planning and corporate tax advisory, cross border tax advisory, Transfer pricing planning to achieve effective operating business model, Indirect Tax planning, Transaction Tax planning, tax policy changes planning and strategies, analysing tax risks, Goods and Services Tax (GST) services, Labour law compliances, HR workforce support, litigation support, Business Process Outsourcing services, Business Set-up and Registration Services, tax implication, planning and strategy in merger and acquisition including tax due diligence, tax structuring, business and capital restructuring etc. He also advises Clients in seeking various approvals including SEBI, RBI and Company Law compliances.
